Challenges

UAE Etisalat needs an expert consultancy to improve the infrastructure and the middleware environment.

The scope of the consultancy was as follow:

Analysis of IBM BAM report, and list all the findings, and provide the recommendations to improve the Middleware, Database and security performance.
Installing IIB on the UAT and Pre-Production environments.
Installing IBM MQ on UAT and Pre-Production environments. Document IIB and MQ
installation procedure, and document the optimal configuration for Etisalat

solution brief

The Solutions activities have been completed successfully and the new environments worked optimally.
Upgrading IBM MQ for all the environments.
Migrating all the old configurations, and data of the previous installed MQ (Queue Manages, Queues and global settings) to the new version.
Provide load balancing for IIB environment.
Separate ODM Database from the common DBMS server to work on its own DBMS server.
SBL Maintenance and Support contract.
The scope of this contract is to maintain all the services of the bank to be running effectively 24/7.
